Eliza Athans

Eliza Athans serves as a Medical Assistant after having graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She brings her experience as a Certified Medical Assistant to our office in both the urgent care and primary care settings as she gains valuable clinical experience in preparation for a further career in medicine as a Physician Assistant. Eliza is also a certified personal trainer and, after graduating college, used her personal training skills to work with youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is particularly passionate about women’s health, and she first learned about a medical office environment while helping her father in his optometric office in North Carolina. You can see Eliza’s bright, compassionate smile at both the urgent care and the primary care.
